Machine Width.Inch+12
A.Skid width should be 6 inch per side larger that the width of the machine.
B.Skid inside width should be at least 37 inch so it can be moved with a pallet jack.

Machine Depth.Inch+12
A.Skid depth should be 6 inch per side larger that the depth of the machine.
B.Minimum Skid depth should large enough to make a top heavy machine stable in the trailer.
C.Skid depth should (if you are using 2"X6" boards) be a multiple of 5 1/2 inch (the actual size of a 2"X6") so you don't have to cut a 2"X6" to size.

A.Crate Height from skid deck should at least 4 inch taller than the machine.
B.Maximum Crate Height should less 93 inch so the Crate will fit through the Trailer Door.
